Goods sourced, documented and shipped out of Ras Al Khaimah.

Momentum Trading is a general trading company working out of the RAK Economic Zone. We buy on our own account and on behalf of clients, handle export documentation, and move consignments to buyers across the Gulf and beyond.

What we trade

Our general trading licence covers a broad range of goods. These are the categories we work in most often — tell us what you need and we will confirm whether we can supply it.

Foodstuff and agricultural commodities

Rice, pulses, sugar, edible oils and dry goods in container loads.

Building materials and hardware

Cement, steel sections, fittings, sanitaryware and site consumables.

Industrial spares and machinery parts

Replacement parts sourced against drawings, part numbers or samples.

Electronics and consumer goods

Small appliances, accessories and retail-ready packaged goods.

Packaging, plastics and raw polymers

Films, resins, cartons and packaging materials by the pallet or container.

Textiles and garments

Fabric rolls, workwear and finished garments to buyer specification.

How an order runs

Four stages from first enquiry to handover. You get a named point of contact and a written record at every stage.

Stage 1

Enquiry and specification

You send quantities, specification and destination. We confirm what is feasible and by when.

Stage 2

Sourcing and quotation

We approach vetted suppliers and quote a landed price with Incoterms, lead time and payment terms.

Stage 3

Inspection and documents

Goods are checked before dispatch. Invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and bill of lading are prepared.

Stage 4

Shipment and handover

We book freight, track the consignment and hand over documents so your side can clear it without delay.

Where we work

Ras Al Khaimah sits an hour from Jebel Ali and has its own deep-water port, which keeps re-export straightforward.

Gulf and wider Middle East

Direct supply within the UAE and re-export to neighbouring GCC markets.

Indian subcontinent

Sourcing and buying across India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Europe and East Africa

Container shipments to buyers in Central Europe and along the East African coast.

Goods stacked on pallets along the racking of a distribution warehouse

A licensed free zone trading company, not an intermediary.

We are a registered general trading company operating from the RAK Economic Zone in the United Arab Emirates, buying and shipping goods for our own account and for clients.

Who we are

We are a small, hands-on trading business. Orders are handled by the people who quoted them, which means fewer handovers and faster answers when a shipment needs a decision.

We deal in a wide range of goods rather than a single product line, so we can follow demand and take on a one-off consignment as readily as repeat supply.

How we handle compliance

Counterparties and banks need to satisfy themselves before they trade. Our know-your-customer pack is kept ready and we share company documents directly with the party who needs them, rather than publishing them here.

Why Ras Al Khaimah

The emirate sits about an hour from Jebel Ali and has its own deep-water port at Saqr, so a consignment can come in, be consolidated and go back out without a long inland leg.

Free zone status means full foreign ownership, repatriation of capital and profits, and goods that move in and out of the zone for re-export without customs duty.

Overheads are lower than in the larger emirates, which is one reason we can quote competitively on smaller consignments that bigger traders will not take on.

Terms we work on

We quote FOB, CFR, CIF or DAP, whichever suits your side. Payment is normally by advance transfer or letter of credit on a first order, with agreed terms once there is a trading history.

Prices quoted are exclusive of VAT. Where UAE VAT applies to a supply, it is added to the invoice at the prevailing rate.

How we deal

Three commitments that shape every order we accept.

Sanctions and AML screening

We screen counterparties and destinations against applicable sanctions regimes and comply with UAE anti-money laundering law. We decline business that we cannot clear.

Documents that clear customs

Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, attestations and bill of lading are prepared to match the consignment, so nothing is held at the port over paperwork.

One quote, no surprises

Quotations state the Incoterm, lead time, validity period and what is excluded. If a cost moves before you accept, we tell you rather than absorb it quietly and adjust later.

What to send us for a quote

Four things let us come back with a firm price instead of a range. If you only have some of them, send what you have and we will work out the rest with you.

Specification

Grade, model, part number, drawing or a photo of the item. A sample works too.

Quantity

Units, weight or container loads, and whether this is one order or a repeat requirement.

Destination

The port or delivery address, and the Incoterm you want the price quoted on.

Timing

When you need the goods to arrive, and any target price you are working to.
